<p><strong>Coder Position Highlights:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Job Type: </strong>Non-Exempt</li> <li><strong>Location: </strong>703 23 2/10 Road</li> <li><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday - Friday </li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type: circle;"> <li>Completes coding per practice policy and standards. <ul style="list-style-type: circle;"> <li>Review physician office visit documentation to correctly apply CPT Procedure codes and ICD-10 Diagnosis codes to patient accounts.</li> <li>Comply with medical coding guidelines and policies to ensure correct and ethical coding.</li> <li>Communicate with physicians on coding and patient questions along with providing documentation feedback as needed.</li> <li>Meet or exceed Community Hospital performance standards on accuracy and productivity.</li> <li>Assist with coding reviews as appropriate</li> </ul> </li> <li>Follows up on all assigned accounts within the billing systems in accordance with pre-established goals. <ul style="list-style-type: circle;"> <li>Maintain 48 hour turn around on accounts in coding worklist.</li> <li>Maintain an accuracy rate of 95% or higher on CPT and ICD-10 coding selection.</li> <li>Provide timely corrections and feed back to biller inquiries on coding denials and questions.</li> <li>Writes appropriate notes in system for every account, including any action taken.</li> <li>Elevates issues, as appropriate, to the supervisor.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent with past billing or coding experience preferred.</li> <li>Medical coding CPC with AAPC membership or certification within one year of starting position</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> <ul> <li><em><strong>Coder I:</strong> $26.00 - $29.90 per hour, depending on education and experience. </em></li> <li><strong><em>Coder II:</em></strong><em> $27.00 - $31.05 per hour, depending on education and experience. </em></li> <li>Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increase, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Medical, dental, vision insurance</li> <li>Life Insurance</li> <li>Free Parking</li> <li>Paid time off</li> <li>Education assistance</li> <li>403(b) with employer matching</li> <li>Wellness Program</li> <li>Additional benefits based on employment status</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Work Location:</strong> In-person/onsite or remote available!</li> <li> <p><strong>Application Deadline:</strong><span> </span>Posting will remain open until May 30, 2026</p> </li> </ul> <p style="text-align: center;"><br><strong>Be Extraordinary.
