This Revenue Integrity Corporate Charge Management Analyst is responsible for reviewing clinical documentation, analyzing charge data, and identifying discrepancies or variations in daily total charges. By maintaining the integrity of the charge process, the Analyst supports optimal revenue cycle performance, regulatory compliance, and financial accuracy across the organization.</span></p> <br>Responsibilities<br><br><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Review documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure accurate capture of procedural and supply </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">charges.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Analyze and update patient accounts in assigned work queues, ensuring timely and complete account review and </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">finalization.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Run and review reports to identify unposted logs; validate and post accurate charges accordingly.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Collaborate with clinical departments to identify and resolve errors preventing charge logs from posting.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Identify and report charging trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement to leadership.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Stay current with hospital charging rules, methodologies, and regulatory updates.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and Epic system training as provided by Orlando Health.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Meet departmental quality and productivity standards while demonstrating self-motivation and accountability.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Crosstrain across all hospital service lines to support comprehensive charge management functions.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies, procedures, and attendance standards, including ADA, FMLA, and </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">other applicable regulations.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">federal, state and local standards.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Other Related Functions:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Maintains established work production and quality standards while demonstrating reliability and consistency in task </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">execution.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Collaborate effectively as a team member to support efficient problem-solving and achieve departmental goals.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Fosters a positive and motivating work environment through respectful and constructive individual and group </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">interactions.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Demonstrates initiative in professional growth by actively pursuing training, development opportunities, and staying </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">informed on industry best practices.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Maintains open and proactive communication with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">and issue resolution.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Escalates concerns or challenges to the appropriate manager in a timely and professional manner.</span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">• Adapts to changing priorities and contributes to special projects or additional duties as assigned, supporting the overall </span><span style="font-size: 10pt;">success of the department</span></p> <br>Qualifications<br><br><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Education/Training:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Associate degree in business, healthcare or related field. </span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the associate degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).</span><br><br><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Experience:</strong></span><br><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Two (2) years of revenue cycle experience. </span></p><p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Extensive PC and excel experience is required.</span></p>
