We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior Cloud Engineer to support the design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure and services. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in cloud computing while working alongside experienced engineers to support scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services.
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, and security.
- Support cloud migration, implementation, and optimization projects.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.
- Assist with cloud resource provisioning and configuration management.
- Implement security best practices and support compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to support cloud initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system configurations.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, system administration, or a related technical role.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux.
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
- Understanding of virtualization and cloud computing fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP through internships, projects, or certifications.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Understanding of containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, or similar certifications are a plus.
