Develop and implement operational risk and compliance strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with company objectives and industry standards. Assess existing processes and identify potential risks and areas for improvement. Lead and manage a team of operational risk and compliance specialists, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Monitor and analyze operational risk and compliance data, identifying trends and making recommendations for mitigation and improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and IT, to ensure effective risk management and compliance across the organization. Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Develop and deliver training programs and materials to educate employees on risk management and compliance best practices. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes and make recommendations for adjustments to company policies and procedures. Act as a subject matter expert on operational risk and compliance, providing guidance and support to other departments as needed. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, communicating the status of operational risk and compliance efforts and making recommendations for improvement. Proactively identify potential risks and compliance issues and work with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions. Foster a culture of operational excellence by promoting awareness and understanding of risk management and compliance throughout the organization. Serve as a liaison with external auditors and regulatory agencies, providing necessary documentation and information. Continuously evaluate and improve operational risk and compliance processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
