With a portfolio of over 8 million patients, 7500 providers, 30 states, and 400 healthcare facilities, SCP Health is a leader in clinical practice management spanning the entire continuum of care, including emergency medicine, hospital medicine, wellness, telemedicine, intensive care, and ambulatory care.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Why you will love working here:</b></p><p style="text-align:left">- Strong track record of providing excellent work/life balance.</p><p style="text-align:left">- Comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.</p><p style="text-align:left">- Commitment to fostering an inclusive culture of belonging and empowerment through our core values - collaboration, courage, agility, and respect.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p></p><p><b>Operational Leadership & System Stability</b></p><ul><li>Own daily operational health and availability of RCS billing & coding systems (including athenaIDX & Athena EDI), automation, interfaces, and batch processes.</li><li>Serve as primary escalation point for system incidents, performance degradation, and recurring operational issues.</li><li>Lead coordination of incident response, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action plans.</li><li>Oversee daily, month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end system readiness and monitoring.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Team Leadership & Workforce Management</b></p><ul><li>Manage, coach, and develop RCS Systems Analysts and assigned resources.</li><li>Define operating procedures, coverage models, and escalation paths.</li><li>Manage workload prioritization, on‑call support, cross‑training, and continuity planning.</li><li>Perform administrative duties including payroll, time‑off approvals, performance management, and goal setting.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Change, Risk & Governance</b></p><ul><li>Enforce change management standards, approvals, and documentation for Tier 2 and Tier 3 system changes.</li><li>Ensure audit‑ready system operations supporting SOX, SOC, HIPAA, and security access requirements.</li><li>Maintain operational controls, access reviews, disaster recovery documentation, and policy adherence.</li><li>Partner with leadership on risk identification, mitigation strategies, and executive reporting.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Automation, Interfaces & Batch Operations</b></p><ul><li>Oversee batch workflows including night jobs, TES evaluations, extracts, interfaces, ETM automation, scripts, and error traps.</li><li>Ensure proactive monitoring, alerting, and resolution of automation failures.</li><li>Drive automation strategy focuses on efficiency, scalability, control, and cost reduction.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Business Partnership & Communication</b></p><ul><li>Translate technical issues into clear, actionable business impacts for non‑technical stakeholders.</li><li>Provide operational status reporting, trending, and executive summaries.</li><li>Support UAT, implementations, and revenue cycle initiatives requiring system engagement.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Platform & Vendor Management</b></p><ul><li>Act as an operational liaison with AthenaIDX, Athena EDI, Athena hosting partners, , KAV Consulting and internal IT teams.</li><li>Manage vendor cases, SLAs, incident trends, and service improvements.</li><li>Coordinate testing, validation, and readiness for system upgrades, patches, and enhancements</li></ul><p></p><p><b>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</b></p><ul><li>Strong operational decision‑making and incident management skills.</li><li>Experience managing audit controls, access governance, and compliance documentation.</li><li>Proven ability to lead Revenue Cycle or System Application operations in a regulated healthcare revenue cycle environment.</li><li>Deep understanding of medical billing, coding, reimbursement logic, and compliance impacts.</li><li>Ability to balance operational workload, projects, and strategic initiatives</li><li>Working knowledge of scripting tools including Cache, SQL, ETM Agent, Visual Basic, PowerShell, WINSCP, FTP, Windows Task Scheduler, and terminal scripting.</li><li>Working knowledge of interface technologies (HCO, SUI, APIs) and monitoring practices.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executives and technical teams</li></ul><p></p><p><b>EDUCATION (Required and/or Preferred):</b></p><ul><li>High School Diploma (Required)</li><li>Bachelor/Master degree (Preferred)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>FIELD OF STUDY:</b></p><ul><li>Not Applicable</li></ul><p></p><p><b>WORK <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word;
