Essential Duties <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Serving as a technical expert within the Sales team, enhancing customer engagements with technical knowledge and project management skills.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Developing and delivering comprehensive technical solutions for customers, leveraging a deep understanding of HID Global's hardware, software, and services, while overseeing project lifecycles to ensure successful delivery.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Preparing detailed proposal documentation for large and complex projects, focusing on system integration, project management, and customer value maximization.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Interpreting complex customer requirements in collaboration with regional sales, product managers, and systems teams to devise effective solutions, managing project timelines and deliverables.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Providing essential technical information for quotes, tenders, and information requests, facilitating the sales process.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Architect, validate, and document leading biometric solutions in partnership with Product Management, Services, and Engineering teams, managing projects to meet customer expectations.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Acting as HID Global’s pre and post-sales technical liaison, offering consulting and support to HID Global Sales, Partners, and Customers, while managing project communications and milestones.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Engaging in professional and technical development activities to stay at the forefront of technology trends and project management best practices.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Liaising with Product Management and Engineering teams to tailor solutions that meet specific customer requirements, ensuring effective project delivery.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Representing HID Global’s technical capabilities at trade shows and internal meetings, responsible for project presentations and demonstrations.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Proven experience in a technical lead role whereby individual took responsibility for configuring and testing internal solutions or product for a server/client architecture</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, working independently and capable of learning new concepts on one's own.</li> </ul> Primary Duties <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Collaborate with a broader team of skilled presales and solutions engineers on a weekly basis, assisting each other in processes, solutioning, and projects.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Help cover the European and African region, travelling with Sales to visit strategic partners and provide excellent partner-tailored demonstrations.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Focus on both commercial solutions and ABIS solutions for small-medium sized government entities.</li> </ul> Essential Qualifications <ul> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">English and Spanish fluent language.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in related fields of computer information systems is required.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on Requirements Analysis and Software Requirements gathering.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on server / client solution architecture.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ability to creatively engineer solutions to solve customer problems, with a strong problem-solving aptitude focused on selling to customer needs.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Deep product knowledge and understanding of the Product Development lifecycle.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Excellent presentation skills and understanding of enterprise computer networking standards.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Solid technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux Server platforms, including practical understanding of Networking architectures and protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP, HTTPS).</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Proven experience with computer language or scripting technologies (as required for creating or modifying existing demo solutions for customer-facing demos or tradeshows)</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Proven use of a software development platform or compiler (having used tools such as Android Studio, Visual Studio or equivalent for compiling code)</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Proven experience in a technical lead role whereby individual took responsibility for configuring and testing internal solutions or product for a server/client architecture.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, working independently and capable of learning new concepts on one's own.</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul tracking deliverables, providing meeting minutes and tracking action items.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience in Enterprise level solutions from the design, engineering and understanding of complex deployments across distributed systems.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.</li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience with virtualization/containerization technologies (installing, configuring Linux containers or VMs in products such as VM Ware
