As we expand into the tech-enabled care market, we are developing innovative solutions designed to support individuals with learning disabilities and neurodiverse conditions in living independently. We are seeking a <strong>Specialist Occupational Therapist</strong> with expertise in learning disabilities and neurodiversity to play a vital role in shaping and delivering our new product offering.</p> <p><strong>The Job</strong></p> <p>The main responsibilities of the role include:</p> <p><strong>Product Development and Evaluation </strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide clinical insight and guidance on the design and development of new and existing tech-enabled care products including market research and user testing.</li> <li>Create and implement an evaluation plan to review the technology and support future development.</li> <li>Lead the evaluation of deployed technologies by collecting user feedback, case studies, and success stories, and provide evidence-based input to inform future development.</li> <li>Support the design and development of services to ensure effective, person-centred delivery that meets the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and neurodiverse conditions.</li> <li>To support prescribers to make informed decisions on suitability of customers used in field trials</li> </ul> <p><strong>Support for sales strategies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the business development team to enhance understanding of the health and social care landscape, including procurement processes, sector structure, and effective engagement strategies.</li> <li>Support customer-facing activities such as events, product demonstrations, prescriber training, and service delivery.</li> <li>Act as a strategic voice within the team, helping shape direction and focus through your clinical and sector expertise.</li> <li>To liaise with relevant bodies in social and healthcare agencies and provide accurate reports on the service relevance and acceptance.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Creating and supporting of marketing materials and strategies</strong></p> <ul> <li>Create engaging, informative marketing content including thought-leadership pieces, leaflets, posters, and other collateral.</li> <li>To collate qualitative data on observation or user experience and create case studies for publication</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):</strong></p> <ul><li>Create regular thought provoking, engaging marketing content </li><li>Create reports and specifications for product development </li><li>Provide evidenced and consistent feedback that is used with in the development of the service and system.</li><li>Reports on user experience regarding the service, provided in a timely manner.</li><li>Suitable Customers chosen for field trials</li><li>Useful and legible documentation created for use in field trials and training.</li><li>Customer satisfaction of the support they receive through any trials.</li><li>Regular Reports to program manager on feedback from health authorities and social services</li><li>Internal satisfaction on level of information disseminated and the knowledge acquired by technical and support staff on issues affecting the potential assisted living customers.</li></ul> <p><strong>About You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Qualified Occupational Therapist with experience working in learning disability and/or neurodiverse support services.</li> <li>Strong understanding of the health and social care sector, including commissioning and procurement processes.</li> <li>Confident communicator, capable of contributing to both clinical product development and commercial strategy.</li> <li>Comfortable working remotely, while maintaining close and consistent communication with a supportive, collaborative team.</li> <li>Creative and proactive in developing content and resources to support marketing and service delivery efforts.</li> <li>Passionate about improving the lives of individuals with additional needs through innovative, practical solutions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <p><strong><u>Essential: </u></strong></p> <ul><li><strong>Minimum 2 years Post graduate experience of working within the learning disability and Neurodiverse conditions sector </strong></li><li><strong>Ability to work independently and mange own priorities </strong></li><li><strong>Experience with basic research and / or evaluation of interventions </strong></li></ul> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong> </p> <ul><li>Experience working with Technology Enabled Care </li><li>Experience working in Social Care </li><li>Experience delivering training or presentations </li><li>Experience working within the commercial sector</li></ul> <p>Requirement to travel UK and internationally where needed, to support development, evaluation, and promotion.</p>
