About the position
Performs activities necessary to process payroll, including maintaining related records, analyzing reports and voluntary deduction reports.
Responsibilities
- Use advanced technology to process payroll transactions and analyze results for payroll companies.
- Answer employee requests received through Service Now cases regarding time entry and pay.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Participate in special projects assigned by Payroll department management.
- Research pay policies, documents and works with relevant stakeholders inside and outside of department to ensure accuracy and understanding of pay practices.
Requirements
- Candidates must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher is required (on a 4.0 scale).
- Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of a PC with the Microsoft Office application package.
- Authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment in this position.
