<p><br><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>Our client, a well-established Automotive company operating across 31 locations in the United States, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Manager to join their team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a hands-on role that spans the full HR function — from recruitment and onboarding to payroll and compliance.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple locations</li> <li>Recruit, vet, and screen candidates, with a focus on Ohio and Indiana</li> <li>Onboard and train new hires</li> <li>Draft offer letters and HR documentation</li> <li>Ensure full compliance with US federal and state employment laws</li> <li>Administer and manage payroll using Paylocity</li> <li>Coordinate with the company's health insurance provider to ensure employees are properly enrolled and set up</li> <li>Handle child support and workers' compensation processes</li> <li>Support HR needs across all 31 company locations</li> </ul> <p><strong>Must-Have Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Fluent English speaker with strong verbal communication skills (little to no accent required, as this role involves direct interaction with employees and management across US locations)</li> <li>Available to work 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of US HR and employment laws, including: <ul> <li>Child support compliance</li> <li>Workers' compensation</li> <li>Health insurance administration and employee enrollment</li> </ul> </li> <li>Hands-on experience with Paylocity for payroll processing</li> <li>Proven recruiting experience in the US</li> <li>Prior HR management experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting HR in multi-location or automotive companies</li> <li>Proficiency with ATS platforms and HR software</li> <li>Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills</li> <li>Comfortable handling both inbound and outbound employee communications</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation & Details</strong></p> <ul> <li>💼 Type: Full-Time | Fully Remote | Independent Contractor</li> <li>🕐 Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM EST</li></ul>
